And the fact that now they can approach any situation with confidence and navigate it in the best way they can is great. Made me think, kids in the West grow up very soft and parents are over-protective. Then going out into the real world is an uphill battle and there is so much unlearning to do. Not sure if it's different in Asian cultures, but can imagine there's more discipline there so the children grow up stronger.

In our culture, traditionally the older generations were more tough n strict due to the society back then.
Nowadays, some of the younger generations will still adopt the same way of educating their offspring.
As most were influenced by western culture, we also implement the soft approach to nurture the young.
I think neither is the best way. It would be good to have both to balance out instead of over-compensating in either one side.🙏😊
